Mahoutsukai Precure!! ~Mirai Days~ is set to premiere in Japan on January 11, 2025 JST. It will be a late-night anime with a 2 AM JST airtime.
The original Mahoutsukai Precure! premiered in 2016 as the 13th title in the Pretty Cure magical girl franchise and had 50 episodes. In 2023, it was announced that it would receive a follow-up, with Animate Times reporting a 12-episode length for the new show. Also announced at that time was Yes! Precure 5 and Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! sequel Power of Hope ~Precure Full Bloom~. Mahoutsukai Precure!! ~Mirai Days~ and Power of Hope are both meant for now-adult Precure fans.
